Hi Hellene,

One last question on this subject, would you mind sharing the fingering for the song. I havent been able to find that in the resources ive looked at on the page. Im sure its somewhere hidden somewhere.

Joseph Haydn ‘Surprise Symphony’

Thanks you!

Good question, andp2004!
With all other approaches people START with fingering, because they don't see the obvious connection between music notes and piano keys. Finger numbers help them to fasten their fingers to a certain place and won't loose, when looking for the next note.
With Soft Mozart you SEE right away and therefore you develop fine motor skills and eye-hand/ both hands coordination before anything else (and this is the way it should be by nature!)
You will come up with correct fingering as soon as the basic skills of finding the notes and keys will be built.
The exercises that are given in the lesson plans teach you the foundation of the fingers' management.
In short: you don't need fingering at the start. Work on the basics first and everything will come naturally to you.

PS
You always may check your basic development by comparing the numbers on the monitor on the right and on the left.
If the right numbers (time) is greater then amount of correct keys (on the very left), your mind is busy building the basics.
When the time is close to 0, it means that you are ready for challenges.
